Mark Mobius, Franklin Templeton’s Emerging Markets Guru | Singapore | April 2011

It’s not every day you get to meet an innovator of international finance. So, it was amazing that Bruce had the opportunity to have lunch with MARK MOBIUS, head of internationally-renowned investment house FRANKLIN TEMPLETON, for the second time in a few years.

The first was when Mark addressed the PORTFOLIO CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE in Sydney in 2004. This time, Bruce was attending the SECURITOR ANNUAL CONFERENCE being held in Singapore and a special session was arranged for Mark to address a select group over lunch. Mark pioneered investing in Emerging Markets and his ground-breaking book Passport to Profits has a treasured place in Bruce’s library; it’s autographed – but of course!
